Go running at least once every day (but do take a rest every 4 days or so). Try for something above what you are supposed to do; for example, do 3 miles instead of 2.
To increase your stamina you run/jog certain distance everyday. As the days go on you should increase the distance you run. You will start seeing results in 2-3 weeks time.
