How do you fix a Spyder MR1 to keep the paintballs from rolling out of the barrel?

It sounds as if the air is not reaching the regulator. But your first bet would be to take the bolt out and lube it (you never know). After the bolt, check the O-rings of everything. Sometimes they snap off. After that check your macro line and make sure it is connected to the reg. If all else fails, send it by to Spyder.

Paintballs are tempermental when it comes to weather. Therefore leaving paintballs in the sun will make them swell, and in the cold will skrink them. The best place would be in a basement, that is slightly cooler then room temperature.

It's not as much a safety issue as it is a waste of paintballs. When it rains, humidity is much higher than usual. This high humidity, along with the water possibly entering your hopper leads to minor swelling and softening of the paintballs, which in turn leads to barrel-bursts and/or chopping. if its a vertical feed no, but sights do little in paintball, the paintballs themselves are not horribly accurate since they are a liquid filled sphere rolling through the air, a barrel and good paint will help, for the barrel look into the J&J ceramic, they are $30 and amazing little barrels, for paint, anything high end will help a lot. for help with aiming, look down the side of your marker, it takes a little getting used to but once you know how to do it you will be able to aim just fine, and since you are looking down the side of your marker and not over the top you will keep your head down, meaning you have a smaller profile
