All I do is take out the bolt, squeegee through the barrel into where the bolt would be then I use some oil I got at Maxon paintball and put some on the bolt mainly by the o-rings. EDIT: Depending on the Gun, some use oil, and some use grease....you should read your owners manual to make sure you are not putting the wrong stuff in your marker. Typicaly the higher end guns use Grease and cannot use oil.

Absolutely, the parkarized finish helps hold the oil. If you don't apply oil it will eventually rust. I usually spray the finish with CLP (you can buy at Walmart in the gun section). Let it dry overnight and wipe off the excess.

Yes that oil works well on both of those guns. for the chaos you remove the bolt, which is not lubricated, then screw out the back cap, then carefully remove the hammer and lubricate its oring and that is really all. If you are preforming maintenance on an invert mini, they you should both read the manual and ask a gun tech to properly lubricate it.

Firstly paintballs break and you need squeegees to clean the barrels or else they'll get stuck or just go a few feet. Secondly if you don't clean it monthly with the oil that usually comes with the gun your paintballs will curve more or not go as far.
