Mr. Irrelevant is the moniker given to the last player selected in the NFL draft. Through the 2008 draft, there has been one Mr. Irrelevant that has gone on to be an All Star. Jacque MacKinnon, the last draft choice of the 1961 NFL draft (Philadelphia Eagles), spent 10 seasons in the American Football League with the San Diego Chargers (1961-1969) and Oakland Raiders (1970) and was named an AFL All Star as a tight end in 1966 and 1968. Bill Kenney, a QB from Northern Colorado, was Mr. Irrelevant in 1978. He spent 9 seasons in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs. Jim Finn, a running back from Pennsylvania, was Mr. Irrelevant in 1999. He spent 8 seasons in the NFL with the Bears, Colts, and Giants.
