Ever since last season, the Arizona Diamondbacks
As of July, 2007 Brenly is the color analyst on Chicago Cubs telecasts.
In 2010, the Yankees played a three game interleague series in Arizona from June 21-23.
The Daimondbacks defeated the San Francisco Giants by a score of 3-2 on April 5, 1998. Andy Benes was the winning pitcher.
Roberto Alomar wore uniform number 12 with every team he was with ever since he was promoted to the Major Leagues in 1988 with the San Diego Padres and then went to the Toronto Blue Jays, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, New York Mets, Chicago White Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks however he also wore the number 2 while he was with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2004.
Yes. Game 4 of the 2001 World Series against the Arizona Diamondbacks, in the 10th inning on a 3-2 pitch from Byung-Hyun Kim.
no Arizona was never underwater!
Mark Grace appeared in one World Series, and won with the 2001 Arizona Diamondbacks. Mark batted .263 (5 for 19) with one home run and 3 RBI's in six games.
No, he did not. Randy Johnson played for several teams during his career, which included the Montreal Expos, Seattle Mariners, Houston Astros, Arizona Diamondbacks, New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants.
A few different reasons really. First off, it was the latest in the year a World Series ever started (Oct. 27) because of games being pushed back on account of 9/11. Also, the Arizona Diamondbacks were only in their fourth season of existence when they reached the Series (a record). The Diamondbacks beat the New York Yankees in the Series, a team which has won by and far the most Championships, making the Diamondbacks' victory sort of an underdog story.
Because they have Ronald Cunningham II on their team :)
No presidents so far have come out of Arizona.
