∙ 12y agoI really don't know, but let me tell you......I'm on a school track team by Timpview and I can run a mile in about 6 min & I'm only twelve years old. Now the coach I have is like SUPER DUPER FAST!! I think she can run it in like 4 min and 30 sec. I don't know anything about the fastest female to run a mile, but my coach is like super duper fast!! Sorry I keep repeating that part. )= Anyways..... if my coach is that fast I bet the fastest woman in the world can run a mile in like 3 min..... what's your guess. By the way I was at the 5k and a kid ran a mile in like 5 min. I think he was only in 3rd grade. This world was mean for fast runner like me and that kid, and the coach.

In Illinois what is the fastest mile a Jr. High girl has ran in track?
11: 14
the average time for a 14 year old girl run her mile in 8:22 I am 14 and run it in 6:08. I think that's a little high, I would say 7:30-8:00 at the most.
There is no official record for eight year old girls because there is not a national race, but you could get the record at your school. Most track meets now include the 1500 m race instead of the 1600 m (mile) race. The current USATF record for an 8 year old girl is 5:24. To check national race results for an 8 year old female (sub-bantum) in the 1500, go to the USA Track and Field website, www.usatf.org. You can check race results at the state, regional, or national level.
The fastest 5 km by a 5 year old is 20:25 for a female and 19:46 for a male according to the "No Excuses" 5 km Run website.
