it can be hard sometimes it depends what kind of squad you go to if you go to a really good squad or an okay squad. some squads don't even have tryouts you can just join
Your local school or team of any kind will have tryouts and if your good enough they will put you on the squad.
well you could make the cheer team with your friends but it all depends on how good you did and how good your friends did at tryouts
i would switch the two around and see if that works out
majority of the time... if you cant tumble, your going to have a hard time getting on a good cheerleading squad. 99%?
Bolton wanderers football club has a cheer-leading squad and when you are old enough and good enough you can cheer on the pitch! the older squad is called Reebok rebels.
Man, I go to a high school in MN and we don't even have a cheerleading squad. They are hideous. They are sluttay. Good luck!
Work on tumbling, flexability, good attitude and energy. if you work hard you will definitely be rewarded on tech's squad. for example this year tech won 1st place at regional and state competition :)
Here are some really good cheer squad names: tigers falcons cyclones warriors express fireworks bears rockets xtreme cobras jaguars bullets sparx flyers infinity xplosion
Usually Cheerleading judges use not only your cheerleading skill but your academic performance when deciding who makes the squad! So, try your hardest to work hard, study, & do your homework! It makes the coach see that you are a hard worker, you are reliable, & that you would be a great addition to his/her squad. :) If you have low grades by time the "Mandatory Meeting" for cheer comes around, make sure you push to get those grades up there. Often anyone who has below a C isn't a very good candidate, no matter your skill. Benching is usually the action for bad grades & they want to see that they won't have to do that to you! Hope this really helps! Best of Luck! Cheerdancelove16
Try to pick unique colors (everyone's seen red and black or red and blue) Pick bright colors that will pop on the mat
Its important to keep fit and healthy for cheerleading but you dont want to get over the top with being really thin and fragile because there is no point. If you are good at cheerleading and say 120 kilos and you are able to do everything really well, they would rather put you on the squad than someone who is 35 kilos, fragile and doesn't have as much determination.
