No, not at all. Use whichever hopper/loader you feel best with. Some people like the Empire Prophecy, which I have owned and used for a long time. Some prefer the Dye Rotor, again one I now own and won't llok back if I'm honest. They are in the top class loaders along with the Pinokio... All three of those will run you somewhere over $100 to buy new. Halo too will suit, heck even a shake 'n shoot would do, but if you use high rates of fire and need a loader that can keep up, either Rotor (3AA batteries and last forever) or Prophecy Z2 are top of the range and warrant from the manufacturers are second to none.
