Yes, there is. You can play high school for your high school (most schools have teams). Or you can find a competition team within your area that you can play with. To find these teams do a search for "softball teams" then your area on any search engine.
You do not have to play competitive softball to play in college. although it helps, most college coaches look for players from competitive teams. I would recommend it.
It has lots of teams and they play in competitions. They have a league known as the Greater London Softball Mixed League for example.
usually it is during the spring/summer. although you will find teams that play during the fall in a fall ball leauge. and travel softball teams most of the time practice year round
Female, they also have softball leagues for adults. Which is usually co-ed. Both genders play softball although it is more common to see all female or co-ed teams than it is to see all male teams.
Not necessarily, most softball recruiting is done through travel/summer teams. Also, many softball programs are not that good and could be considered a waste of time.
Travel is more competitive than rec. Rec season also consists of 1 game per every few days or once a week. Travel will compete in tournaments which will only last 1 to 2 days, but have up to 8 games in a day! 8 being probably the most. So to answer your question, the only difference would be the level of competition. BTW I ♥ TRAVEL SOFTBALL!
You can play softball as long as you like just not a grandma. There is pro softball, so you can play softball as long as you like.
Because the teams need players to play a part in the game.
Softball is commonly played in every US state. As for the most softball, some states have longer seasons due to weather and some states have more people to play . California probably has the most softball teams and plays the most games.
You play softball in the spring and in the summer!
