A player in the back row is allowed to jump and attack the ball from the back row as long as they jump behind the 10 ft. line. If the back row player jumps in front of the 10 ft. line, the team looses the point.
to bump set and spike it back to the opposite team ,kill the ball.
Well...im on a travel team it depends weather you have in the back line but the people who usually hit are the hitters on the front line.

to spike a volleyball you swing your arms behind your back and when you jump you reach for the ball, spiking it with your wrist.
Most times if you are in the back center you need to bump it to the setter and if you are in the front center you 1. bump it to the setter or 2. after a setter sets it to you go back and spike it in to the components faces =]

if they want to hit, they can't jump after they have crossed the attack line, but they can approach and everything as long as they are behind it. They also can't be in front of a front row player before the ball is served. And all the basic rules about rotation and so forth.

i am pretty sure 6 man volleyball is what i play. if it is, it just means u have 6 people on the court: left front, middle front, right front, left back, middle back, and right back.
