Listen. No. Your question shouldn't be "Is Creature a good skateboard for street, because it's based on the distribution company that OWNS Creature. So my question to you is; Do you like Santa Cruz boards? Do you like Flip? If so, then ride Creature. It's the same exact board with different graphics.
I use to skate a Flip and I hated them. But it's personal preference. What kind of board do you ride now? just check out the distribution companies and compare them with the wood you ride. I ride DLX Distribution wood. That would be the best wood out there right now. Anti Hero, KROOKED, and REAL. Best boards out there. For transition AND street.

Skating is so GOOD coz 1. You will all ways have fun 2. When having so much fun you also get fit without really knowing it 3. You can get heaps of hotty's if there is some watching 4. you don't have to buy that stupid exersize equipment when you can buy skateboards for like $150, scooters for $129, BMX's for $500 (And that is around the prices for good scooters, skateboards, and BMX's) 5. You meet more people skating then you would sitting on the couch watching the simpsons 6. You can become famous if your really good at skating 7. You can enter in comps and get cash and prizes 8. Skateboarding is exersize it is very indepent you progress depends on how much you skate and pratice. Skateboarding is for fun. There are many uses for skateboards if its skating down the side walk or pushing it into buildings to set of trip wire (used in the army for awile in the 1990's). Skateboards are used for doing tricks riding or just cruising. Although skateboarding will become so much more it is not just a piece of wood with wheels it is a passion. Good luck skating! if you like that size. i would suggest going to an 8.5, then work your way down to a size between 7.25-8.50. It really doesn't matter but most skateboard companies don't make skateboards in the extreme sizes. And the cooler designs are in the 7 inch sizes.
