no there's different ways u can get it done. like there's diffident depths to the blade like beginners get a 1/2in cut were i get a 5/8's in cut cuz I'm a good skater

No, they do not to be sharpened. They're not really skates. The kids just use them to get used to standing on the ice, and to walk in them on the ice.

Yes, they can. After Ice Skating, if the blade is not cleaned with tissues/ a towel etc. The blades can go rusty, which is very dangerous and so they must then be replaced if they do go rusty. If you your skates do get rusty, you can have them sharpened which will remove the layer of rust, however I suggest NOT to leave your skates to rust as the rust may progress to areas of the blade that aren't normally sharpened.
