If you are 13 years old and you are doing an 90% mile you should get about 7:40. That was my time and I was the third person in the class but the first girl.
I am 13 and i ran it in 6:05.
Between 6 and 7 minutes is pretty good at the middle school level. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? IF A GIRL IN GRADE 8 CAN RUN THE 1200 IN 8 MINUTES SHE SHOULD BE CONGRATULATED . YEAH IF SHE IS MORBEDLT OBEASE
1200 in 8 minutes isn't really that good.. that's actually really bad.
i got a 6:39 for a mile and that is the 14th best for 26 7th grade girls of my city last year. the best was 6:11. i am 2nd best in my gym class of 30 girls. (but my gym class is kind of slow and unmotivated)
um i can run a mile in 4.40 i was told it was too slow I'm 13

im 13 and run a 6.45 mile, and im only top 5 on my team so whoever had the first answer must think girls suck or are all morbidly obese cuz if ur in even suckish shape you shud be able to run it in 8 minutes easy
im 13 and i ran it in 7 min and i was the best girl in my class though my gym class sort of slow
Elite girls 5:05 - 5:25, Regional competitors 5:26 - 5:45, Above Average 5:46 - 6:15, Average 6:16 - 7:00. The mile is a power run and at this age girls with a heavy background in soccer and or running get to the top levels.
The average is about 9 minutes or 8.5 min.
Im 13 and my average is a 6:3o
