How old do you have to be to become a pro soccer player?

Doesnt really matter but if youre so small you get knoced over easily then its a bad idea. Occasionally players do get rejected because they are to small. If you are very tall then you have an advantage although you could be ridiculed

You can sign a pro contract at any age its just a matter of if the club actually wants you. If you are a younger player (13-17) they will most likely put you on an academy or reserve team and allow you to train and develop the professional characteristics needed at that level.

I don't think there is an age limit but I do think you have to be at least 16, because David Beckham started playing for Manchester United at age 17. :) Hoped that helped!

to play pro soccer, usually u would start after college, although some people hav played earlier. it depends on when u r asked to a team

there's no age restriction. the youngest player recently to go was Freddy Adu at 14/15. But I believe Pele was most notable...he dominated the world cup at 15
