When you play junior AFL certain clubs run scholarship programs. They test out the best players in the region to see who is good enough to play in the AFL. Each year every club, except the Sydney Swans, has to give a scholarship to 2 people from NSW. These can range from $5,000 to as much as $30,000 scholarships that has to go towards your education.
