Deon Clifford, aged 14 years, 8 months ran in the Harry Jerome Intl. track
meet in Vancouver in June, 2009 and had a time of 4:06.65. we expect
that is not the fastest, but in the Canadian top 10. Official records are not
kept for that age.
Well a...
Normal person - 7 to 8 minutes or more
Runner - 5 to 6 minutes
Elite Runner - 4 to 5 minutes
Kenyan - 3 to 4 minutes
Those are averages for 1500m. I just ran and I got 5:23 for 1500m. So I would be a runner.
Most high schools & middle schools in U.S. run a 1600 meters, but doing a quick conversion an average kid running the event in track would be about 6:00 minutes. The real good runners probably down to 5:00. I'd say the average kid just sitting in class would be lucky to run 9:00.
hmmm maybe under three, If your talking about someone who runs. For someone who doesnt run probably low threes
I'm 14 and I've run 4.24.43- the world record for a 15 year old is 4:21 so i doubt this
im 14 years old and my 1500m time is 5:15, I'm slowly working my way to the low 5 time
My PB is 4:55 and when i started I ran a 5:27 so
if you keep practicing you will see results
anything below 5:30 I would say is deemed as a good time for a 14 year old
