Nothing really for most people, but in Vostok in Antarctica the coldest temperature on Earth was recorded. It made an unbarable temperature of -89 degrees Celsius, and it has had an unconfirmed temperature of -91 degrees Celsius. If you live in the southern hemisphere, this might be quite important, but if you live in the northern hemisphere it'll be much more important, so on this note I'm talking to all the people living in the northern hemisphere and ignoring the people living in the Southern Hemisphere. Now, you know that June, July and August are the hottest months of the year as they're the summer months. Well, you should know. July or August is a bit hotter than June, but they're all very hot. I think July is probably a very tiny bit hotter than August, although the hottest temperature recorded was in Libya on September 13th, it reached a soaring 57.8 degrees Celsius. For the southern hemisphere, June, July and August it is their winter months, and Vostok is in the Southern Hemisphere at 78 degrees South, which is very close to the South Pole. The South Pole is at 90 degrees South. In winter, the South Pole is a truly deserted place. For you, you will be in the opposite season to the southern hemisphere
