Once the skiers go uphill by a cable car or lift, they gain potential energy. This potential energy is converted into kinetic energy once the skiers start to ski down the slope.
Skiers use a combination of techniques such as momentum, balance, and body positioning to navigate the ski slope and ride up the lift to have another go down the mountain. By leveraging these elements effectively, skiers can counteract the force of gravity and enjoy multiple runs in a skiing session.
U should all know that answer IT IS EASY! But since you asked, I'll tell you anyway (indeed, this site is full of easy quesitons, easily answered). In an electric circuit, electricity has to flow in two directions. It flows outward from the generator in the hot wire, and simultaneously back to the generator through the ground. With a ski life, the skiers go up the lift and then ski down the slope; you can't have them going in only one direction. They only go up so that they can ski down, and they can't ski down unless they first go up.
You don't need a lot of education to have a job at a ski resort. They often hire locals who have grown up in the area and are avid skiers. Enjoying people and the atmosphere are the number one requirements.
A ski lift is pulled to the top of a hill by a power driven conveyor. Skiers usually sit on a seat which is pulled up the hill on that conveyor by a motor. Without them skiing would not be so easy.
A ski lift is a type of simple machine known as a pulley system. It utilizes wheels and ropes to lift skiers up a hill, reducing the amount of force required to do so.
Yes he does, I have seen him fall down and get back up and still get a top ten
On club penguin,its impossible.
im pretty sure your thinkin of the Jon olsson super sessions (JOSS) where skiers make edits and try to make it on one of the teams for JOSS. wanna hook up? 801-368-2247
The force of a ski lift is a pull created by the lift system itself. The lift pulls the skiers up the mountain using a combination of motors, pulleys, and cables. The force of gravity also plays a role in keeping the skiers on the chairlift as they are lifted up the slope.
You use ski wax in downhill ski racing right before a ski race. Ski wax can become expensive and it wears off quickly so it is really just used for race day. Plus, you end up scraping a bunch of it off before you even ski on it! Ski wax comes in different colors based on temperature. Swix ski wax is a well respected brand. The ski wax comes in small bars that looks like different colored soap. The color of the wax you use depends on the air temperature, snow consistency, and other weather conditions. Each ski wax brand should have a chart which you tell you which ski wax to use and when. It is important that you watch the weather to see what the temperature is going to be the day of the ski race. The ski wax bars come in temperature ranges. Sometimes you can mix different colors if the temperature is right on the border between two different temperature ranges. Or in some cases it may be colder in the morning and warmer in the afternoon. As far as colors go...here is what they recommend for Swix wax: HF4 Green, -10
