What to wear ice skating?

When you are ice skating you can wear different things. It really depends on what you are doing, and weather you are a guy or a girl. If you are a girl and you are ice skating just for fun, you should wear clothes that keep you warm. I would prefer gloves. (incase you fall). If you are going to figure skate, or compete you would wear this: your hair up, (unless its too short), your ice skating dress, your ice tites,(leggings you wear when ice skating. These can go over the boot part of your skate and they are called "boot covers". Or they also have tites that only go from the inside of your boot up to the top of your knee.) If you are a boy you would wear an ice suit, or just normal clothes if you are skating for fun. If you are a guy or girl wanting to play hockey and not figure skate, you would wear special padding and a special kind of skate. If you are just skating at a rink, than you can pretty much wear whatever you want. If you are in a competition, girls wear a skating dress with skating tights and their hair done. Boys usually wear a fancy shirt with a tie and fancy pants.

Layer shirts and jackets. Sweat pants or an outfit for figure skaters and jeans for non-figure

skaters.

if you are indoor skating it will still be cold just not as cold so tights or jeans just no skinny jeans short sleeve top with jumper or jacket on top

Your ice skating apparel depends on if you're skating for fun or taking lessons. When skating for fun, wear warm clothes, such as jackets, scarves, gloves, hats, etc. It may benecessary to wear a helmet the first time you skate. If you're skating in a lesson, and are moderately good skater, girl's should wear tights, a skirt, jacket, and gloves, while boys can wear normal clothing, as long as it is flexible.

It is totally up to you. If you are young, or are quite good at skating, an Ice skating dress is gr8. But if you are just going for fun then try jumper, leggings or jeans. :)

Wear something fairly warm, because if you fall over the ice will be cold. I usually wear gloves too :)

If you are a man you would prob prefer hockey skates. Women tend to wear figure skates. your choice.
