Salomon makes a real good boot, with locking tightening systems (which are almost always better than regular lace-up) and DC is apparently good with the locking too. Burton and Ride are the best boots. Pure comfort and quality. I rented a pair of salomon boots, and they buckled in the heel making it very uncomfortable to ride.
