Absolutely. His partner for free style is his wife who is a demanding yet great coach. She is tough, but ti pays off. He on the other hand does not work as much on jumps or spins as he does choreography. He has choreographed four of my daughters programs and did a wonderful job! If youre looking for a good choreo/ice dance/moves in the field coach- he's your guy!

When ice skating the best blades are determined with what level you are on and what tricks you will be attempting. You should ask your coach if you have one before buying one. same with the boots.
The equipments for figure skating differ. Of course, skates. For the skates you will need guards to protect your blades. If you are planning to compete you will need skates, outfits, music, and lots of support and practice, partner if working with someone, coach, skating rink, and a bunch of happiness.

Peggy Fleming won the Olympic Gold Medal for Ladies Figure Skating in 1968. While I am sure she still skates; I have not seen her skate in some years. Depends, if the comp is at your ice skating club then maybe something classical like the nutcraker but if its at nationals then you should talk to your coach about it. The song choice should link up with your routine if you skate at nationals!
It can ages to get all of you double jumps, but it depends on your coach, how often you train, where you train and so on. It is different from everyone, but it does take a long while.
