Hi. To be able to spin on the ice is not always simple. Firstly, you need to have a good entry (you can Google this to get a good idea of what it is). If your entry is too shallow or it doesn't have enough curve it's likely you will travel or end up doing a 3-turn. Try to curve the entry as much as you can on a slightly bent knee. Then slowly rise up and pull your arms in to your chest and hold the open/upright position until you feel that the spin is well centered. Just keep doing this for for a bit until you get the hang of it. Later on you can try to cross your leg over the other one to spin faster. If you're doing this remember to put your free ankle by your knee and then slowly slide it down. Try not to spin on your toepick. Keep practicing and it will come. Good luck!

P.S: I'm trying to find a way to stop going up onto my toe when I spin. If you have any advice or know anyone who can help me to fix this please, please, please let me know! It would be much appreciated. Thanks!

How do you increase and stop the spin in skating?

To increase the spin, pull in your arms and they will stop slowing the spin down. Keeping them out will slow the spin down and you will spin for a smaller period of time. To stop the spin, stick your toe-pick into the ice, and you will stop. I hoped that helped you! :D

How can you get 3000 pang in one round of Pangya at Ice Cannon and what is the best way to make the most pang?

Well for hole 1,8or10 I'm not sure, you need to use a spin mastery to spin to the front at the ice land. So, the golf ball will spin to the front very fast. Also, I recommend you to hole in one in Ice Cannon because it is 2A stage, if you hole in one, you will get more money. Last time I play Ice Cannon in match, I got 2336 Pang. Follow what did I told you, you will be rich. in Ice Cannon i can get 6k to 8k pang a game. take advantage of the ice which is sloped down. just do forward spin on the ice and you will get the overdrive. for example in hole 1 of Ice Cannon use 3W club and do the forward spin on the leftmost part of the ice and you will receive an overdrive of more than 200 yards. 50-60 yards left to the hole.

Why is a scratch spin in figure skating called a scratch spin?

The scratch spin is an upright spin where the free leg is crossed over the skating knee and then pushed down towards the ice. As the arms are pulled in towards the chest, a blur effect can be achieved if the spin is done fast. It is the most popular spin among figure skaters.

The ice skater pulls her arms close to her body to reduce her moment of inertia and spin faster due to the conservation of angular momentum. By extending her arms, she increases her moment of inertia and slows down her spin.
