you need a board with blunt edges and a more flexible board is better
DONT DO IT WITH A BRAND NEW BOARD
the sharp edges will dig and you be screwed like a noob on ice
some places can dull ur edges if you want them to

to grind on a snowboard you first have to be able to jump onto the box or rail you're going to grind on, then just by sliding down the the rail or the edge of the flat box you're grinding.
