I, myself, am a figure skater. We just love skating, it's our entire life. It's one of those love-it-or-leave it things. We devote our weekends, holidays, and lives to it. We wake up in the morning to go to the rink. We meet long-lasting friends, we have life-changing moments. There's really no words to describe it.

Because it's part of life! When I was little, I started skating; now once my blade touches the ice just glides it's like you're flying. I skated for years! Once you mastered a jump, you felt so happy. Just skating and talking to your friends, showing off your new jump; it's a whole different life.
I agree. Figure skating is amazing, it is my life, but it takes determination and courage, which is why you feel so good after you land a jump. You know how hard you worked to get it. Its like you're in a bubble, just you and the ice, nothing else matters.
For me, it wasn't only a part of my life, it basically was my life. Living at the rink for about a decade, I learned many life lessons that I still use today. It is an amazing, accomplishing feeling to achieve goals in skating. It, though it took much of my life away from me like doing things that 'normal' kids did, it gave me back much more. I miss figure skating a lot.
Some people think it is cheesey others think it is amazing most people have no opinion
they think it's not cool..but i skate so i support it *They think it's dangerous... both to the skaters and the people they accidentally run into.
