The industry standard for scope mounts is the 6-48 screw. This is an oddball size due to the fact that it is only used for that application. Brownells is one source for such screws and related tooling. Larger magnum builders have opted for the 8-40 size, however, to stand up better to the rigors of the magnum recoil.

For a Bushnell Buckhorn 3-9x40 rifle scope, you'll typically need a scope cover that fits a 40mm objective lens. Look for a cover labeled for 40mm scopes, which should provide a snug fit. Brands like Butler Creek or Vortex offer universal scope covers that can accommodate this size. Always check the product specifications to ensure compatibility.
It should if it fits on other kinds of M1 Carbines.
Ebay has usually side mounts that fits the Savage 340 , Glenfield side mounts
a mount that fits on rail fitted to a gun that alows a sight to be seen higher above the gun, making it easier to aim.
Its really depending on the length of the rail. The Steyr Mannlicher Scout (my rifle ;P) has really short weaver railing; called Weaver Scope Mounting Rails. The only real thing you would want to put on there is scope rings (to mount scopes) or other sights like iron sights or red dots. Hope this helps.
It depends on your motherboard specifications. But the screw size that fits most is: • Head: Hex / Phillips • Thread: 6-32 • Length: 5/32 in (4mm)
That will depend on the scope and your eyes- but is ABOUT 3.5 inches. (Distance between your eye and the rear lens of the scope) It is the distance where you see the full image in the scope. You adjust it by sliding the scope forwards or backwards in the rings before tightening them down so that it fits YOU when holding the rifle in firing position. Please note- failure to pull a heavy recoiling rifle in TIGHT to your shoulder will result in a cut over your eye from being whacked with the scope.
Remington 30-06 Springfield scope.
The Glenfield (check your spelling) Model 10 was manufactured by Marlin under their second brand name (Glenfield) and is a hunting grade sinle shot .22. Most will have two parallell grooves on the top of the reciever for a basic .22 scope. A decent 4 power scope would be the Barska 4 power, 20mm scope available on line from Walmart for about $21 (including shipping). This includes the mount that clips into those two grooves. Nice little rifle, by the way
The Winchester Model 250 typically uses a 1-inch scope tube, and it generally requires a scope mount that fits standard 1-inch rings. The specific mount style can vary, but many users opt for Weaver or Leupold-style bases. It's essential to verify the exact model and year, as specifications may vary slightly between different production runs.
