Yes you can. I have shot some in my dads Rem 7400. If you do shoot it. treat it likes it is corrosive and clean the gun promptly and properly.
1000 yards or so.
1.2 miles per the us marine handbook.
Accurate and effective to about 175-200 yards.
Depending upon many conditions -weather, type of projectile, condition of rifle bore, type of rifle, etc. - combat accuracy can be achieved out to around 600 yards/580 meters. Target accuracy with a highly accurate rifle can be stretched out to 1000 yards/ 990 meters.
I actually meant a target, Sorry.. I didn't mean hunting
You will have to be a little more specific. target shooting, sniping, BP or CF or RF?
You will have to me more specific. Do you mean any rifle that fires a 30 caliber projectile or 30/06 or 308?
