The value of a Beretta Cougar 8000 9mm varies depending on the exact model. A New in Box DA/SA 8000F is probably worth about $600. A stainless "Inox" model will probably cost you at least $100 more. The 8000D Double Action only versions are usually found for slightly less than their DA/SA counterparts. You will also pay slightly less for a used specimen. Prices will also vary for the compact "mini-Cougars." The minimum value for a good condition 9mm Beretta Cougar of any model is probably about $500. Stoeger, who is owned by Beretta, currently makes a Cougar that is identical in every way to the original Beretta version except for the markings. A NIB Stoeger Cougar 9mm can easily be found online for around $350. Stoeger does not currently produce the stainless or "mini" versions of the Cougar. The Stoeger Cougars are 100% of the quality as the original Berettas. You pay a lot to have the name on the slide...
