The Pedersen Model 1000 was "built" by Pedersen Custom Guns in North Haven, CT from 1973 to 1975 The action and barrels were imported from Beretta (BL-4/BL-5), Pedersen then engraved and fitted the guns in varying grades of finish. A lot of the value of the gun will depend on its condition, a rough condition, "plain" gun would be around $600 - $750, a gun with "premium" wood and nice engraving could command $2,000 or more. The Model 1000 was also available with "standard" stock dimensions and "custom" stock dimensions, if the gun has "custom" dimensions, it may be very difficult to find a person that "fits" the custom dimensioned gun, bringing down it's market value. Pictures or links to pics will help narrow in on the value. There is a Model 1000 at Cabelas with a current asking price of $1,400 which seems a little high (IMO), due to the "plain" finish of the receiver. http://www.cabelas.com/gun-inventory---scarborough---american-sg---1277979-Pedersen12-sca.shtml Smitty
