Without knowing the details of your scope, it is tough to answer. Contact your scope manufacturer for details regarding the adjustment of your scope.
That being said, set your range out to 300, then start messing with the other adjustment rings (mainly the one out front) and see when your crosshairs come into focus. Many scopes aren't adjustable.
Barring availability of an owner's manual, make marks (white pencil) of where you started from, and the begin to make adjustments to settings. When you find a sweet spot, mark it.
