To swim at the Olympics you have to qualify for the trials which are held approx a few months before the games. if you come first or second at the trial sand make the second set of qualifying times for the team you are guaranteed a spot on the team. if you do place but do not make the qualifying for the team then t=you are in the selectors hands and it is up to them whether you make the team or not.

Nope not at all. Swimming is one of the best excercises. It is fun and you will never get bored. It will increase your strength its a full body excercise. Its really fun. I have wheasing from past few years and I never thought I could swim. But now after joing swimming and practicing for an hour every day. Now I can swim for the distance of 1km a day.

There can be as many as five people one the ice at a time (six including the goalie). The number of team members can vary depending on the team and regulations for the league. Some teams prefer to have 20 people on their team with a few alternates and some may choose to have 15 people on their team with no alternates.
