The World Record is 44.94 seconds, a good club swimmer will take 50 - 55 seconds while an 'average' swimmer should be taking around 90 seconds
also depends on how old u are. im thirteen and a girl so going around 58-66 seconds is good. it all depends on ur training level, ur age, ur experience, ur gender, and whether ur a long distance or sprinter

∙ 12y agoFor an average high school Long sprinter, it should take about anywhere from 37 to 42 seconds. im a junior in high school and the last time i did that i ran a 39 flat meaning exactly 39 seconds.

The Pool at the Recreation Centre at CFB Toronto was 60 metres in length. I would swim 5 lengths under water with a big push off the wall every time I had to turn around. That was 1980 to 1984. I trained every day. That's 5 lengths on one big breath and hyperventilating before each attempt. There was always civilian lifeguards on duty.

∙ 13y agoThere is no 300 meter swim. There is a 200 and a 400 meter though. So since it doesn't exist there is no record.

∙ 13y agothe world record is around 31 seconds, so, it's hard to fathom anyone partaking on answers.com doing better than that.
It's usually dependent on age, I would shoot for 50-60 seconds.

∙ 10y agoIt depends on what level you are at, if you are a pro swimmer you should be able to do it by 5:01,5:00 and so on...

I swam the mile yesterday in 41:09. I belong to a swim club and am in grade 5, age10
Your average speed = distance/time = 2 metres per second.Your average speed = distance/time = 2 metres per second.Your average speed = distance/time = 2 metres per second.Your average speed = distance/time = 2 metres per second.
Just a few seconds.
I am a PADI dive instructor and for our Dive Master course the top mark requires a swim of 400 metres in under 6 min 30 sec.
No. The average speed is the average of the magnitude of the velocity but not the magnitude of the average of the velocity. This is because for vectors |A + B| ≤ |A| + |B|.Suppose you travel 100 metres due East at 10 metres per second and then 100 metres due North also at 10 metres per second. Your speed, throughout, is 10 metres per second and so that is your average speed. But your average velocity is the total displacement vector divided by the total time. This is100*sqrt(2) metres due NE/20 sec = 7.07 metres per second due North East. Its magnitude is 7.07 metres/sec.
Average speed = total distance divided by total time (100 km) divided by 2 hours = average speed = 50km/h.
This all depends on age and what shape you are in. A good time is 20 minutes.
The average wait time for character re-customization seems to be about one or two hours.
It depends how many whats you're asking about.Fewer blue whales than people.More guppies than people.
Depends on the time, average speed = distance / time Usain bolts record time is 9.58 seconds, giving an average speed of: 100 / 9.58 = 10.438 metres per second ( 23.349 mph ) > His maximum speed during the run however, was recorded at 12.22 metres per second ( 27.335 mph )
To convert swim times from meters to yards, you can use the conversion factor of 1.0936 (1 meter is approximately equal to 1.0936 yards). Simply multiply the swim time in meters by this conversion factor to get the equivalent time in yards. For example, if a swimmer completes a 100m race in 1 minute, the equivalent time in yards would be approximately 1 minute and 5.47 seconds (1 minute * 1.0936).
You can calculate the average speed of a swimmer by dividing the total distance swum by the total time taken to swim that distance. The formula is: Average Speed = Total Distance / Total Time.
