What skills must you have to get into the Stanford swim team?

To be apart of the Stanford swim team, you not only have to be an exceptional swimmer, but also an exceptional student. Most colleges base their recruiting class on whether or not a freshman will be able to score points for them at conference. As a top swim school in the nation Stanford will have more rigorous qualifications. In my opinion, always go for your dreams, but I would definitely suggest having National cuts before seriously pursuing a recruitment from Stanford. If you do have great times, make sure you grades, test scores, and philanthropy are top notch!!
