In the first post-Rome 2009 World Championships edition of the FINA World Diving Rankings for the ten-metre platform, Daley reached a new career best ranking of number one.

He won two gold medals for England at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, in the 10 metre synchro diving (with Max Brick) and the 10m Individual Platform competition.

Tom has been winning Diving competitions in the UK and abroad since he was 9-years-old. He has entered two Olympics and has a bronze medal from London 2012.

Thomas Robert "Tom" Daley (born 21 May 1994) is an English diver who specialises in the 10 metre platform and won the Bronze Medal in the event for the 2012 Olympics. The Gold Medal for 10 m platform was won by David Boudia (USA and the Silver by Qiu Bo China (CHN)
