Ted swam 25 m east in a lake and turned and swam 75 m east His displacement was 50 m east what distance did he swim?

If Ted swam 25 m east in a lake and turned and swam 75 m east he swam 100 m total. The displacement of 50 m only takes into account his starting and ending positions, not the travel route.

Anna and she swam or Anna and her swam in the pool?

Anna and she swam in the pool. It is easy to remember when you can state the sentence as: Anna swam in the pool. She swam in the pool (not: Her swam in the pool), so combined they would be Anna and she swam in the pool.

How many people swam across the pacific ocean?

Zero. If you actually understand that it is seriously impossible to swim for that long without drowning, dehydrating, or being devoured by sharks, then you can see that no one has swam across the Pacific ocean. The greatest distance ever swum by a person is supposed to be when Benoit Lecomte "swam the Atlantic Ocean". Note, however that since there is no standard definition of the feat "swimming across the Atlantic", there is uncertainty about the distance that Lecomte actually covered swimming in the water rather than riding in a boat. He only swam for 6-8 hours each day, so he would have been on board a boat the rest of the time. Also, it should be noted that he stopped for a week in the Azores near the end of his swim. It is unlikely that he actually swam the whole distance; according to the Rocky Mountain News, Lecompte would have had to average 8 mph to have swum the entire distance, 3-4 times as fast as other long-distance swimmers. Lecompte announced that he plans to "swim the Pacific" in 2012. As of February 2012 the planned date for the start of the swim is 14 April 2012.

What is the longest distances swam?

Possibly the greatest triumph of endurance is Benoit Lecomte swimming across the Atlantic ocean. Lecomte, born 1967, immigrated from France to Austin, Texas, at age 23. When his father died of colon cancer in 1992, it spurred him to do something extraordinary to raise awareness of and money for cancer research. With the help of Edward Coyle, director of UT Austin's Human Performance Lab, and dieticians, Lecomte trained to build his endurance, swimming and cycling 3 to 5 hours a day, six days a week for two years. On 16 July 1998 he set out from Cape Cod with 8 wet suits, a snorkel and some flippers into turning weather. Navigated through the 40th and 50th latitude by two French sailors on a 12m (40 foot) sailboat and protected by an electronic force field, Lecomte swam 6 to 8 hours a day at two-hour intervals. He mainly used the crawl stroke, switching occasionally to a mono fin and using an undulating dolphin kick to carry him over the 5 600km (3 736 nautical miles) of relentless waves. 72 days later, on 28 September, he swam ashore exhausted but heroic at Quiberon, France.
