I wouldn't say there are any actual "stages." The general outline of a jump; plan the jump and practice on the ground, climb to altitude, exit, do whatever was planned, breakoff (get separated), open, land.

There are a lot of different things to do in skydiving, so that outline can change plenty.

Run forward curving more and more as you get closer then jump with the leg, bringing your knee straight up farthest from the pole, turn in air, and try to arch your back keeping your butt up, and last land on your shoulders. The important part on the jump is to jump up and make your momentum carry you, do not jump into the pit

The long jump is a Track and Field event where an individual jumps as far as possible in one bound. The fours stages of a long jump are approach, take off, flight (through the air) and landing.
