Common injuries from overdoing running might be shin splints, runners knee, an injured achilles tendon, a sprained ankle or stress fracture. The most common swimming injuries have to do with the shoulder and irritation of the eyes.

There are loads of injuries that can occur during swimming. But common ones are as simple as pulling muscles in your body, or possibly fracturing yourself on walls.

I don't know if you'd call it an injury, (probably not) But it's very easy to get Athlete's Foot or verucca's/warts on hands and feet.

The shoulders are a common place for injury because when you do the stroke 'fly', it pulls your shoulder muscles. Also, the akilies tendons are easily stretched.

Shoulder injuries are the most common. Also Breastrokers(swimmers who's best stroke is Breastroke) often have knee injuries.

There are actually a lot. You can get really bad cramps. You can also hit your arms on other people or other things.
