How long it takes to swim 1500 meters depends entirely on how fast a swimmer you are. For me it takes 20-25 minutes.

It depends. If your swimming in a 25m pool, then it's going to be 6 lengths. If your swimming in a 50m pool, it's going to end up being 3 lengths.
