That depends on how long it takes you to make the required jumps and training for each jump.

Getting your A license (the first in a series of steps A - D) requires a total of 25 jumps. There are 19 "levels" that must be accomplished, typically one jump for each level. Each level for the most part works on teaching you an additional skill.

It took me about 2.5 months total to get everything done, many of the levels have a fair amount of ground prep so it's not like you could knock out all 25 jumps in a single weekend. It's nice to, for example, make it a goal to do over a summer.
