It is very good. It is popularly acclaimed as the best shore diving in the world, although all things are slightly relative. However the Netherlands Antilles have had a long standing a very successful marine conservation programme to preserve their underwater sites for the benefit of Scuba tourism. They also benefit from a huge number of shore based sites that are easily accessible, so they avoid overcrowding that hampers some other dive destinations (like, for example, some Red Sea locations).

In comparitive terms, Bonaire generally ranks alongside Cayman Brac/Little Cayman and Cozumel for the best diving in the Caribbean.
