No...absolutely not.
Answer
Kinda-sorta, but not really.
Human babies do have what's called a "dive reflex" when they are born, meaning they'll close their mouths and hold their breath if submerged.
They won't really swim - that takes coordination, which they don't have yet - but they'll hold their breath and happily go into a sort of doggy paddle w/o having been taught anything.
Theyaren't able to surface and breathesuccessfully, which I suppose would be required to call it swimming.
Answer
Humans are not born with the instinct of swimming and a new born baby should not swim. You should give babies/toddlers lessons before putting them in a pool, though I am not sure which age swimming lessons start at.
Answer
No they can't, they would drown even if they tried
Answer

Answer
Humans are not born with the instinct of swimming. The baby must take swimming lessons before it is able to swim but I believe a new born may not take swimming lessons.
The babies would drown in the water. Also, the babies may not know how to swim.
I can't swim. Can you swim? Babies can learn to swim.
It is believed that all babies can naturally swim, because all humans spend the 9 months before birth surrounded by liquid. This would imply that through time the child forgets how, and that humans eventually need to be taught to swim.
In the uterus (unborn babies only)
The ability to swim is a survival trait in fish, they instinctively know how to swim because they cannot survive otherwise. Therefore only fish that know how to swim can pass on their genes to the next generation. Humans may also have an inherent ability to swim. Babies have the ability to swim when they are very young - a reflex. However, they cannot surface for air by themselves. They later lose this ability and need to learn how to swim at a later stage.
No
A full grown healthy guinea pig CAN swim but not babies or old ones.
Yes - the mother will swim underneath the baby and help it get to the surface to breath, but the baby is born knowing how to swim.
I know yo mama can swim!

It's niche is to live in the ocean and then swim back to where they were born to have babies.
No, however young babies are capable of holding their breath under water.
