Yes, sports tampons work as well as any other tampons for swimming - tampons are essentially all the same: absorbent wads of cotton or rayon, the design offers very little additional protection. A swimmer would be better off considering menstrual cups as unlike tampons cups can be worn even when flow is light or before menstruation to be prepared, cups also don't leak or increase cramps as tampons can. You can use any internal menstrual product to swim on your period.
Swimmers are the people who are the participants in the sport of swimming. They are the ones that swim the events. Some famous swimmers include: Ryan Lochte, Michael Phelps, and Katie Hoff.
Sport tampons open in a cylinder shape and open all around when inside you where as a regular tampon is one that opens only width wise. Sport tampons tend to leak very very little where as normal ones leak quite frequently :)
No in the olympics, synchronised swimming is an all female sport
That they are the coolest. Trust me. Its such a good sport, we barely have to wear any clothing.
Kieren Perkins and Susie O'Neil are famous swimmers and that's what sport they made their names in.
to make sure none of the swimmers are cheating... just like any other sport
In my opinion I would say no
hahaha idiot
Yes, disability swimming is a sport in the Paralympics. Swimmers win by how many points they get. Thier points are calculated by taking their time, as a percentage of the world record for that race for that class of disability. All swimmers have a classification S1-S12 on how severly theey are disabled.
You don't need a tampon, even if you are a menstruating woman there are other options and options like menstrual cups are better than tampons so make them even less necessary. Some woman may prefer tampons because they're active like dancers or swimmers, if they don't know about cups they may feel tampons are needed as they can't use pads for there activities. Internal options like tampons are needed for things like swimming as pads can't be worn in the water.
No, you don't have Playtex Sport tampons in Australia. Just get another brand, all tampons work the same and absorbency is universal so they all hold the same amount of flow too. It's best to avoid rayon tampons like Playtex anyway, opt for cotton tampons like Cottons instead.
Synchronized swimming does not stink! It is a great sport and has many dedicated swimmers. It is a very difficult sport and many people practice for hours every day. To be elite take slots of hard work and if you ask anyone who has competed at this level they will tell you how hard they have to train and how difficult it is. Having done synchronized swimming myself I know it is a great sport and its time that people recognize it for the sport that it is.
