heres a word, kook: surfers who have no respect, and thus deserve no respect, drop in on others and snake you. basically what you would call a person that doesnt belong. surfers with no proper etiquitte, and surfers that show up at territorial beaches like windansea and think they can just come in and surf every wave cuz they have a bigger board. also people that are on the internet trying to find cool words. dropping in: when two people are paddling for the same wave (very common) if the person deeper into the wave actually catches the wave, then he has the right of way, if the person in front, or not as deep in the wave, doesnt get off that wave a.s.a.p then that would be considered very rude and disrespectfull. just dont do it...its so freakin annoying. snaking: when someone is in a good place to catch a wave, but then another person from a worse spot comes over to catch that wave and knowingly cuts the other person off. this is THE WORST THING you can do while Surfing a localized area, or anywhere. this will get people to talk about you and wana punch you in the face, again just dont do it. also if you want people to know that you know what your talking about, get familiar with the most well known californian surf breaks, for example MAVERICKS, STEAMERS LANE, LOWER TRESTLES, SWAMIS, AND BLACKS (my home break).

A triathlon wetsuit should not be used for surfing due to the fragile coating on the outside of the suit. The abrasive surface of the surfboard will damage the wetsuit ruining the coating and possibly tearing the suit.
Revolutionaries...VC right? Well, the answer to that is, that nearly all people fight the hardest when "on their own land." Another words, had the VC landed in California to fight...they probably would've said, "...the heck with it, let's go surfing instead."
