Well people from the United States are mostly people from Europe. Remember North America is still very young. There isn't really an American nationality so all the people that make up the US are from other countries and enjoy different sports. In Europe the main sport is soccer or football, whereas in the US people enjoy other sports like Baseball and American Football. It comes down to different cultures, weather and tradition.
