This game is the winter version of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games created in 2007. This particular game was created in late 2009.
The game is based in Vancouver 2010, like the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.
It's very much like the first game in the M&S Olympic series. It contains alot of the events that were in the Vancouver Olympics. (Ex: Snowboarding, Skiing, Figure Skating, etc.)
They also have events with their own twist on them called Dream Events. For example, have you ever thought that Curling is like Bowling? Well in this game, one of the events that you can compete in is Curling Bowling!
You can play as an assortment of twenty famous Mario and Sonic characters that are classified in four catergories: Power, All-Around, Speed, and Skill. They can be classified by their action in games. For an example, obviously Sonic would be under the Speed catergory.
But enough of that. I know this sounds too geekish and complex, so I'll finish short.
It's a great game and I highly recommend it! :-)
No, there isn't a jet costume in Mario and Sonic Olympic Winter Games.
There are two: Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games. Both are on the Wii and DS.
