I don't have 2K8, but I have a few of the other 2K titles and they've been the same for the ones I have. The players you create are placed into the Free Agency and from there you can trade them to whatever teams you want. You don't save the player by itself, though. You save the whole roster. I'm not sure if that's how it is in 2K8, but I don't think they have changed much in that category.

In the game MLB 2K8, Manny is not on the Dodgers yet he still is currently on the Boston Red Sox, but in MLB 2K9 he is a Dodger. hope that helps.

Mlb 2k8 on Wii had worse graphics and is a lot easier than Mlb 2k8 on the Ps3 or 360. With the 360 and PS3 you have total control pitching with the right thumbstick and hit stick 2.0. The graphics are also a lot better. you suck
