Alexander ovechkin is the most expensive athlete for Russia. In 2008 he signed a 13 year contract for $124 million dollars meaning he is stuck in Washington until he is 35 years old lets hope he still plays let alone the fact that pro athletes in all sports are makeing bigger deals and short term contracts i doubt that it will be alot a money by 2015 let alone 2012 $10 million a year
