Who are the nederland westernaires?

The Nederland Westernaires are the dance/drilll team for Nederland High School in Nederland, Texas. They are nationally known and awarded. The team consists of varying numbers of team members and is led by five officers, three lieutenants, a first lieutenant, and a captain. The girls work numerous hours for football and competition season, and are known for their precision and skill in all areas of dance. These include kick, pom, jazz, lyrical, prop, field routines, competition routines, and novelty routines. At the end of each year, the team has a show called Spring Revue, in which all of their competition routines are showcased.
