Great Britain and Northern Ireland have had a gold medal in every modern Olympic games.
Since not all Olympic trials have been competed, it is not possible to know how many athletes from each country will be at the Olympics. However, at the 2004 Olympics, the National Olympic Committees of the following countries sent at least 75 athletes to the Games: Argentina Australia Austria Brazil Bulgaria China Croatia Egypt France Georgia Germany Great Britain Greece Hungary Italy Japan Netherlands Poland Portugal Russia United States
Although it is often claimed that Britain is one of the few countries to have attended every games, you have to remember that until 1906 athletes competed individually, not for their country. At St Louis, in 1904, there were three Irish athletes. As the whole of Ireland was at that time part of the United Kingdom, it can be said that they were technically British. However the parts of Ireland that they came from are now in the Republic of Ireland, and not part of the UK, so Britain's claim to have been present at the 1904 Olympic Games is at least tenuous.
no there is not but in at least one country its a sport but not an olympic sport

A country must have formed a National Olympic Committee (NOC) and had that Committee approved by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) before they are allowed to send athletes to an Olympic Games. An NOC is in charge of developing and selecting athletes to compete for the country at the Olympics as well as training coaches and administrators in Olympic rules and regulations. Currently, Gibraltar has applied to the IOC for recognition of its NOC but has not yet been approved. When approval comes, Gibraltar will be allowed to send athletes to compete in the Olympics under the flag of Gibraltar. There has been at least one Gibraltar born athlete to compete in the Olympics. Peter Dignan, born in the city of Gibraltar, competed for New Zealand in men's coxed eights rowing at the 1976 Summer Games in Montreal and won a bronze medal.
