Rugby feartures a lot but is not the only sport
New Zealand is known for originating several unique sports, the most notable being rugby union, which has a rich history and is a significant part of the nation's culture. Other sports that originated in New Zealand include netball, which evolved from basketball, and ki-o-rahi, a traditional Māori ball game. Additionally, the country has made contributions to the development of other sports, such as cricket and sailing, but these did not originate solely from New Zealand.
