There are many things to do. BBC gave it 4th place in their 100 things to see before you die. You can go to Table Mountain National Park which has more plant species than the whole of Britain. You can go up the mountain by foot or with the cable car. You can go to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. You can go to Canal Walk (which IMO is one of the best malls in South Africa.) You can go Surfing. You can go to the Two Oceans Aquarium or the Museum in Cape Town which also has a planeterium.

There are much more things to do in and around Cape Town, but us locals don't always think of them because we are always here.

There are many beautiful places to visit in the mother city. Some of these places arent far from Cape Town International Airport. :) Table Mountain is a beautiful flat mountain often covered by cloud, which makes it look like a table cloth. Surrounded by Table Bay, this mountain is wonderful to visit, because you can travel up in a cable car (fun!) and hike up. :) Chapmans Peak is a road which links Hout Bay & Noordhoek. You will get amazing views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful mountains and hills. :) The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is a great place to do a bit of shopping on the docks. The Two Oceans Aquarium is fun for people of all ages! This is also at the waterfront! You can take a ferrie to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. Ferries also visit Simons Town, Hout Bay & the Seal & Duiker Islands. There are luxury hotels around the waterfront with restuarants with mouthwatering food! :) The Artscape Theatre is the most popular performing arts venue in Cape Town, with popular shows and concerts. :) Cape Winelands are in the amazing towns of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschoek. This makes a great daytrip for wine tasting, making and sightseeing. :) Whale Watching is during the breeding season which is between August and November. Whales include Humpback Whales, Southern Right Whales. Killer Whales & Bryde Whales can be seen all year round! Whales are in False Bay, and for a drive you can go to Hermanus which is known for it's whale festival. :) Most popular places for tourists to stay include Camps Bay, Sea Point, V&A Waterfront, City Bowl, Hout Bay, Constantia, Somerset West, Hermanus & Stellenbosch. There are also hotels at Cape Town International Airport. :) Cape Town will also be the location of several matches of the FIFA 2010 World Cup, including the semi- final. A brand new stadium in Green Point will be built for 70 000 people.
